On the two days I couldn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, they let me take it away without making me feel awkward or like I was asking for something improper. I just asked for containers, and they were ready for that. That kind of welcome made a big difference to me. When you travel often, it matters to feel at home, and that’s how I felt at Abrazo. I was in Sofia for work, but it was also my first visit, so being near the main sights mattered too. I’d suggest this hotel for business or leisure. It’s clean, quiet, elegant and comfortable, with very kind staff. The 24-hour gym is small but perfectly adequate, there’s a dry sauna, and breakfast has lots of variety and good quality products. There’s also a shop right next door for water and other little things you need while traveling.

Andrew at reception was so helpful and left me with a great impression of the hotel. I slept well in a comfortable bed, and the room had tea and coffee plus a minibar stocked with drinks and snacks. The bathroom was spotless and well laid out, with good quality products. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was good. I’d recommend it.

Alec was especially lovely and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was fantastic at all hours. We had an amazing time at Abrazo hotel. The place looked great and our room was comfortable. Highly recommend!

We paid extra for a special room with a bathtub, but there was no hot water during our one-night stay, in either the shower or the tub. When we raised it with staff, they said there was a regional water problem, nothing could be done, and we should contact management after checking out. We did that, but management denied that anything had happened and then stopped replying to our messages. Given the room and the extra charge, this was very disappointing. The way the problem was handled, and the service overall, were unacceptable.

The gym and sauna are pretty basic, though adequate for a hotel this size. For the price, I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Abrazo. The bed was comfy, staff were helpful, and breakfast had a good spread.
