Premier Sofia Airport Hotel

The shuttle from the airport never came, even after we called three times. We waited outside in the cold for an hour, then had to take a taxi. The shower first had no hot water, then stopped running altogether while I was covered in body wash and already freezing. Now we have bedbugs. I can't say for sure they came from this hotel, but the timing, other reviews and everything else make me wonder. They have a robot for room service, yet can't provide basics like hot water. What a joke of a hotel, especially for the price. The whole experience was a disaster, and even the location isn't worth it. Go somewhere else for your own sake.

We waited an hour for a pre-booked airport shuttle that never arrived, and nobody at reception answered our calls. In the end we had to get a taxi. The reception staff were extremely rude and unfriendly, and didn't care about our complaints. They kept sending canned Booking.com deal messages, but never picked up the phone or replied to us. The rooms are OK for one night, though the corporate photos clearly use a lot of filters. There are plenty of complaints about the shuttle service here, so avoid this place if you can.

There are lots of one-star reviews, and it seems management isn't running the hotel well anymore. It's going downhill badly. Management needs to change.

We keep coming back because it's close to the airport, but each visit the hotel gets worse. The staff are totally unhelpful, and the rooms and corridors aren't clean. Reception said there was no housekeeping after 5:00pm, and they had no alternative bedding. Don't stay here if you have a feather allergy. Honestly, my best advice is not to stay at all.
