Iztok

I stayed in Apartment 5 at Iztok. The large patio was my favorite part, with its view over the neat garden, trees, bushes, and fountain. It felt private, and the big yellow chairs at the kitchen table were comfortable for working on my computer. The place was quiet, clean, and safe, with a soft queen bed, good air conditioning, a clean bathroom, and strong water pressure. The sitting room had cable TV and fast, steady Wi-Fi. The kitchen was clean and had the appliances and supplies I needed, including a fridge, microwave, oven, stove, coffee pot, dishes, glasses, utensils, detergents, and towels. The gated apartments are in one of Sofia’s nicest, quietest neighborhoods. ATMs, bus routes, two large taxi stands, a metro station, grocery store, cleaners, and coffee shops are a short walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. I also saw Apartment 7, which looked good, but it’s on the second floor. I prefer the first floor so it’s easier to get out. These are apartments, so there’s no front desk clerk. That suited me; it felt more like home, and I didn’t need one. There’s security on the grounds, often in the lobby at night, and the hosts are friendly and responsive if you call with questions. Maid service needs to be arranged with the host.
