Novotel Sofia

The location near The Mall is handy for shops, restaurants, and a cinema, and the airport is close too. A taxi or public transport makes getting to the city center easy. My stay at Novotel Sofia was great. It's modern, clean, and organized, with spacious, bright rooms, comfortable beds, and surprisingly good soundproofing. The bathrooms were clean and modern, with good water pressure and the essentials. Staff were friendly and professional, check-in and checkout went smoothly, and they helped with taxis and local suggestions. Breakfast had a good range of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and local options, and the dining area was pleasant. The gym is well equipped, and there are good business facilities. Comfortable, convenient, and good value for a modern hotel by the mall and airport.

Radostin welcomed me again, just as he did about a month and a half ago, and was consistently warm. He's attentive and professional, and clearly focused on making customers happy. I also enjoyed the restaurant, where the food was very good and the service correct and efficient. I highly recommend the place, especially for its staff. A big thank you to Radostin.

I used to stay at this hotel for business four years ago, and returning was a great surprise. We landed after midnight and called to ask about transport. The hotel quickly arranged a taxi. When we arrived, my colleague and I had no reservation for that night because of a mistake by our company. Antonia, the receptionist on duty, was kind and reassuring, and we had rooms within five minutes. Two days later, since our stay had turned out longer than expected, she patiently gave us directions for seeing the city. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've found, and I travel a lot for work. Sound insulation is amazing, even when sleeping during the day. The facilities and bathroom were nice and very clean. I appreciated the glass bottle and the dispenser with hot, cold, and room-temperature water, so I could get all the water I wanted without using a plastic bottle. Breakfast was among the best I've tried, with a nice range both at hand and available from the kitchen. The restaurant and bar staff were professional and well-mannered. Definitely a place to stay and get a good rest.

It's a little far from the city center, though there's a bus stop nearby and a huge shopping mall next door. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. Everyone on staff spoke good English and was polite and helpful, but Rosen at the front desk really stood out. I was traveling with a tour that was coming back to the same hotel, and he stored my case until I returned. When I got back, he also helped extend my room for a late checkout because my flight was late. He was polite and nothing seemed like a problem for him. A credit to the team. I'd definitely stay here again.
