R34 Boutique Hotel

Check-in was fully digital and went smoothly, but I didn’t see any staff, so I can’t comment on the service. The room felt a bit rundown and didn’t look as nice as the pictures. The Wi-Fi was poor, though 5G reception was good. Beds were okay, the room wasn’t small, and there were even a couple of couches. The bathroom was fine but cramped, with no shower screen or curtain, so everything got wet. I gave it four stars mainly for the unbeatable location at this price. An average hotel stay.

The room, number 1, was big and nicely decorated, and the location is right in the middle of everything. Don’t be put off by the front of the building, it’s much nicer inside. I would’ve given it five stars if not for the shower’s hot water problem. We were told it was because of the building’s age, so keep your shower quick! The bar shown on the website is downstairs on the ground floor, but it’s being renovated and won’t be finished any time soon. At least there was no construction going on while we stayed.

I checked out on August 1, 2025 and asked for an invoice that day. The lady at reception told me to send my details via Viber, which I did right away. When I still hadn’t heard back, I contacted them on August 19 and was told to fill out a form. I did that immediately too. After I called four times to follow up, the same lady said the accounting department was on vacation and she’d check back with them. She never did. On September 16, when I asked again, I was told to fill out the form again because apparently it wasn’t right. I did it straight away. Finally, on September 17, I was told the accounting department, back from vacation, couldn’t issue an invoice this far in the past. I’ve never heard such a huge amount of bullshit just to get an invoice. Why couldn’t they give me one at reception when I checked out, like every other damn hotel in the world? Why would a company lie to avoid issuing one? I think anyone can guess the simple answer. On top of that, the receptionist was neither helpful nor polite, the water pumps serving the bathroom were noisy, and the facilities were completely average. I wouldn’t stay there again.

It’s a simple, clean place, and the receptionist was very professional. The hotel is easy to find, conveniently located, and extremely quiet, so you can enjoy some peace without disturbances. Great value for the price.
