Apolonia Apartments

The garden and pool area were lovely, with plenty of grass and trees and some big rocks that made it nice to look at. Inside, our 3-bed apartment was clean, spacious and thoughtfully set up for comfort and practicality. The furniture was new, stylish and well maintained; there was nice artwork, lots of ambient lighting, and enough kitchen equipment to cook meals. I honestly couldn’t find anything to fault. Valeri, the owner, and Nevena, the manager, clearly care about the place. They were hospitable and lovely. Nevena handled our many questions and requests, and Valeri even gave me a short history lesson about Sozopol. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed on my travels and holidays, especially for this budget. I have to head to the airport in less than an hour, and it’s hard to leave. Thank you, I really hope I can come back one day!

We loved our two weeks here and found it really relaxing. It’s calm and quiet, just what we wanted. The garden and beautiful pool never felt crowded, even when the property was fully booked. Our top-floor room was super clean, nicely furnished and had a sea view. There’s also a small beach five minutes away on foot, and it’s quiet during the week, which we liked. The staff were great. We asked the manager to suggest restaurants in the old town, and she did, then booked us a table both times. We’ll be back!

We spent 10 days here and would absolutely return next time we visit Sozopol. The hosts are great people, and the property has a lovely garden to sit in. Our room was spacious, clean and lovely, and the pool was large and clean, perfect for swimming or relaxing poolside. Supermarkets are a very short walk away, and across the road there’s a great banitza shop for traditional Bulgarian breakfast pastries. I highly recommend it.
