We just ordered the Pork Kvarama again because it was brilliant. It’s a stew with meat, onions, musrums, pepper, and an eeg on top, with garlic bread on the side. Had it with draft beer and a large Mastica, the Bulgarian ouzo. Fries go with it too, if you want.

We were disappointed by how the guests were treated. A woman at the cafe was rude and angry, and her attitude made us want to leave. She seemed unhappy that we talked and laughed at our table. Payment was cash only, with no cards accepted.

The staff were rude, and the food was disgusting, frozen stuff. The rice with the mussels was mushy. They only take cash, no cards, so they don’t pay taxes. Stay away from there.

We stayed here for a September holiday and had a great stay, with friendly staff and no problems. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. From the top floor, our balcony had the best view, looking out to sea. The beach was about a four-minute walk away, and we’d definitely return to Sozopol. If you drive, there’s paid parking in front of the hotel, 6 lv per day.
