Holiday Village

The beach was okay, and the kids liked it. But this was our first and last visit to Duni Holiday Village. It feels stuck in the '90s, and I don’t think it deserves 4 stars. Check the room carefully. Ours was full of mold hidden under the air conditioner. They argued that the room was more humid and that previous guests had been fine. Maybe, if those guests had stayed in that room 3-4 years ago. When we asked reception to change rooms, they said they couldn’t do it without the manager. We tried to handle things peacefully with management, and now they’re blaming us in different ways.

The food was okay, but the alcohol was the worst I’ve tried in my life. The workers were very rude and impolite, and most didn’t speak anything other than Russian. People were working in flip-flops in the restaurant, so think twice before paying that much for this place. It used to be a nice, very good place to stay. Now everything is broken and falling apart, and management just takes the money without investing it back into the property.

There’s lots of good-quality food, and the gardens are beautiful with a clean beach. It’s a thoughtfully designed place, with a range of attractions for the whole family. The flat had no bathroom fan, so all the moisture stayed inside. The walls are very thin too. You can hear the next-door babies crying all night as if they were in your room.

The food was pretty good, and the cleaning service was okay. We asked them to play a birthday song at lunch, but they probably forgot. Some rooms are quite far from reception and the restaurant. Worst of all, the rooms at the far end didn’t have wifi.
