Sea Sense Boutique Hotel

The staff made the hotel feel like home, and the fresh food was delicious and beautifully served. The spa is wonderful, the infinity pool and views are amazing, and the spacious rooms are clean and beautifully designed. Everything smells fresh, too. This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at on the Bulgarian seaside. Absolutely superb, give it a try. Thank you!

There are just four loungers with umbrellas for hotel guests on the beach, outside the spa area and right among the chairs and cabanas of Bamboo Beach. On weekends, the Bamboo Beach party crowd can get loud in the late afternoon, but it quiets down again around 6pm. At night it’s just the waves and crickets. The pool was lovely, filled with heated, desalinated seawater, and there were plenty of loungers and umbrellas, so finding a spot wasn’t a problem. The spa was wonderful, and we had a great massage. Breakfast was really good, with all the breads, pastries, and banitsa baked in-house. We skipped dinner, but the lunch options were excellent. Service was friendly overall, though there were a few missed spots. This small boutique hotel, with no more than 20 rooms, maybe, feels like a bit of the Greek islands in Sozopol. It has white plastered walls and feels airy, roomy, and light.

The main entrance is down a flight of stairs from the road and parking area, so it isn’t wheelchair accessible. The views are stunning, and the infinity pool is a nice touch. There’s plenty of pleasant seating by both the beach and the pool. The place is clean, chic, and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is simple, fresh, and very well prepared, with some made-to-order options.

The hotel is new, and the details feel carefully handled with love and respect. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need, with a spa-like feel throughout. There’s a great pool, and the beach is just a door away. Service was great. The girls weren’t very fluent in English, but they tried. The food was delicious, from breakfast to the lunch and dinner menu. We tried almost everything. It’s a wonderful place to spend a few days away from the world.
