I've stayed at Hotel Atol several times and would recommend it. It's a small, friendly and clean place, with towels and bedding changed regularly. Right in the center of Sunny Beach, it's a handy base opposite the main Flower Street and just a short walk from the beach. The bus stop and taxi rank are at the end of the road. There are several 24-hour supermarkets nearby, plus the larger Janet supermarket around the corner, open until 11 p.m. Good-value restaurants and bakeries are close too.

The place is unique and the service is at a very high level. A big thank you to the rescuer who came straight away when my wife fainted. Unfortunately, there was no doctor to examine her after he helped. The restaurant is especially good, though I have to say it gets very noisy in the evening.

Great location, and the staff were so welcoming and kind. Our room was comfortable and clean. Loved the hotel, and we'll definitely come back ☺️

We spent ten days here and couldn't find anything to fault. The hotel, staff, restaurant and location were all spot on. Our group will be back in August 2025. Just wish we'd stayed longer.

The restaurant Nordic deserves 7 stars for its antipasto, cold drinks and good service. The restrooms were clean and air-conditioned, like finding a lake in the desert. This page doesn't give enough stars, so I'm giving the place 6.
