Harmony Suites 8 9 - Dream Island

A quiet area with a good location, not too far from the sea. All the staff were friendly. We mostly spoke with hotel administrator Petya, who always helped with our questions or problems with a smile.

The grounds are nicely landscaped and generally well looked after. Kids have a medieval style fortification to play in, plus a smaller pool for younger children and a main pool with a bar. There’s also a public playground right outside, a big bonus for families and perhaps the only one in all of Sunny Beach. The smaller pool’s floor sheds little pebbles that are uncomfortable underfoot. There’s no lifeguard, so children need adult supervision at both pools. Cleaning service is nice and the staff are good. It suits families, but the small courtyard gets crowded quickly and the main pool’s free sunbeds can run out. It’s relatively secluded and quiet compared with other Sunny Beach spots, though the neighboring restaurant and busy Burgas-Varna main road make it noisy too. The road is some 10-15 meters from the apartment complex. The beach takes 10-15 minutes to walk to, which is tough in intense heat, and it gets easily overcrowded in high season. Parking is public and limited, so during the season there are often no spaces available. Finding somewhere to park in Sunny Beach can be a real pain.

There’s a nice courtyard with a pool and waterfall, and the rooms are fully equipped. Three bars and two supermarkets are nearby, and the beach is a 15 minute walk away.

Really good experience and service. The friendly staff take care to keep the rooms and facilities very clean.
