Hotel Amfora

We were there for seven nights, two adults and two children, and were welcomed warmly and professionally by the reception ladies. Our room was a pleasant surprise, freshly renovated with everything brand new. The resort also has a huge green courtyard, two great pools, plenty of sunbeds, and excellent cleanliness. The adult pool is 1.50m deep and the children's one is 60 cm. It's just a two-minute walk to the beach. The children's activities were a highlight for our family. Ivo and Niki, you were amazing, BRAVO, that's a 10 out of 10! Food was very good and varied, and the waiters were extremely prompt. A delightful stay.

My partner, our baby, and I spent 10 amazing nights here. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, lovely with my daughter, and so friendly to both of us. I'd highly recommend it to anyone travelling with young babies!

I love Sunny Beach, but I won't return to this hotel. The rooms were dirty and had old furniture that fell apart, the food was disgusting, and the hotel staff were rude. On the first night our room was tiny and dirty, so I complained and was moved to a bigger one, but its bed fell apart and I cut my leg on the end of it. When I told the staff, they brushed me off with “no, no, no.” The bar staff were lovely, though, and we met other people dealing with the same situation.

There's a good choice of food for different tastes, and our children especially loved the breakfast pancakes. Staff were friendly and helpful, went out of their way for us, and were especially welcoming to the children, always waving and saying hello. The two generous pools include one for children, and there were plenty of loungers, so no need to get up at 5am to claim one. The reception area and lifts were always clean, with cleaners around constantly. Fantastic facilities, we'd definitely come back.
