There was no one from the hotel staff around during my whole stay, so getting help or even making a complaint wasn’t really possible. That was especially frustrating with noisy families ignoring the quiet rules and some guests not following the pool rules, which made the pool less enjoyable. The room itself was in bad shape too. The floor was sandy and dirty when I arrived, the bed felt extremely uncomfortable and cheap, the blankets had disgusting stains, and much of the furniture was damaged. The shower barely had any water pressure. The bathroom drains, especially the sink, smelled unbearable. I had to leave the noisy ventilation running all the time to cover it.

The apartment was cozy and good value for the money, with pool access downstairs and the beach about a 5-7 minute walk away. The bathroom didn’t look properly cleaned, though, so cleanliness could be better.

The patio was lovely, the owner was good, and communication was easy. The pool was nice too, though the pool bar wasn’t open, which was disappointing given the listing. Reception was closed, with only rainbow 1 open. The room looked smaller than the photos suggested. It was clean, but there was cleaning equipment everywhere, even in the bathroom. Hot water in the shower was limited, the toilet ran out of flush water quickly, and there wasn’t any toilet paper, which caused a bit of a situation, haha. Towels weren’t changed and the bin was tiny, but it’s easy enough to use a plastic bag and take rubbish to the big bins outside. You can reach the beach from the hotel, but getting to a nice stretch takes around 20-30 minutes. Don’t walk across the sand, because you have to cross a river. There’s a bridge, and it’s a decent walk that we did almost every day. The bus stop is just across the road and fares are cheap. If you want to go clubbing, though, stay in the main town, since you won’t want to walk back after drinking.

Nothing looked like the photos, and the place was very poor. I wouldn’t stay there again. If I could afford to move, I would.

The pool was nice and not crowded, and the price was good. My overall impression was positive, though the room walls were thin and the internet kept dropping.
