Hotel Slavyanski

The staff were what made the stay so enjoyable. They were friendly, kind, and helpful, and made sure we had what we needed. The location was ideal, a two-minute walk from the beach and right on the main walking route. My wife and I stayed for seven days. Our room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with air conditioning, a mini fridge, closet, sofa, and TV. It’s a basic room, not a luxurious one, but it has what you need. Breakfast was decent, with something new each day. We also liked the pool area, with free sunbeds and a pool bar, and the view over the pool from the restaurant.

The beach was easy to get to, but the pool area wasn’t very clean. The hotel itself felt dated and not especially clean, and service was minimal. The food wasn’t good either. For a three-star place, it was disappointing and felt more like a two-star hotel.

It’s a fairly basic hotel, clean enough and in a decent location. The shared pool with the adjacent hotel is huge, so there’s plenty of room. Breakfast is very good and worth having. There’s no kids’ club, entertainment, or activities, but there are places with evening entertainment nearby.

The place was horrible, with very poor cleanliness and disorganized, untrained staff who seemed unsure what they were there to do. I wouldn’t recommend dinner. The menu was mostly spaghetti and cheap meatballs with no clear provenance, and the dinner queue was as long as the pool. We waited an hour. There were no glasses for alcohol in the restaurant area, which I’d never encountered at a hotel before. It took 20 minutes to get three drinks from the bar, even though nobody else was waiting in front of me. Parking only fits a few cars. If you arrive by car, you’ll have to use a private lot for BGN 25 a night. The quality was disgusting.
