St. Sofia Apartments - Official Rental

We just wanted somewhere to sleep, and ended up spending a whole day finding another place and paying triple because everything was already booked in the middle of the season. We’d spoken with the owner about staying for a week. He said there was no need to book through Booking because he wanted to save the commission. When we arrived, he told us the apartments had been sold and we should find somewhere else. He put us out on the street without help or any empathy. The place itself was very dirty, with old, poorly maintained furniture. Worst experience of my life. Please don’t consider staying here, sleeping in a tent would be better!

I booked two weeks at St Sofia, but when I arrived I was told I had to stay in the next building, Stella Pollaris 1. There was an old, dirty mattress left on the floor on my floor for my whole week there. The room was extremely dirty, the aircon was very noisy, the main door frame and bedroom bed were damaged, the bathroom had no light, the microwave didn’t work, the entrance felt completely unsecured, the bathroom drain was blocked, and there was a disgusting smell. The owner Stefan never replied to my texts or calls. I’m sorry I couldn’t find all the pictures. Never again, this place is shit 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We booked three apartments here via boooking, but were told there was no room when we arrived. The staff were rude and uncooperative. Other guests told us that some apartments had no bathroom doors and were dirty. Worst experience ever.

We stayed at the end of the season, so it was very quiet. The apartment had everything we needed, and the staff were lovely. I’d definitely come back 😎
