Studio In Harmony Palace Residence

It's a nice hotel, but the view from our room is probably the worst in the place: a green building and trees. That's put us off coming back. We booked a year ahead, then emailed to request a room with a view, though it didn't have to face the pool. They told us to get in touch closer to the date, so we did, only to be told there were no pool-view rooms left. I'm sure one would have been available when we first booked. Last year it was a five-star stay, which is why we returned.

A lovely place to stay, with a well-furnished apartment. There's a pool area and a jacuzzi.

We came here for a holiday with my husband and our two children. The day after we checked in, our car was stolen from the hotel's car park. Don't assume it's safe just because there are guards and cameras. We told the hotel about what had happened at the time, but neither they nor the people in the neighbourhood helped us. The Bulgarian police couldn't find the car. I'll contact all the relevant institutions in Turkey and Bulgaria. There's no police in Sunny Beach. Remember to mention this when renting your apartments.

It's a quiet place, good for relaxing, and the staff are nice. The apartments are lovely, though a little cramped. There's a shop across the road, restaurants are a short walk away, and the beach takes about ten minutes on foot. We stayed in August 2019.
