Sunny Residence Complex

The place is new, friendly and well priced for this time of year, with a kitchenette that has the basics. It’s close to the beach, shops and restaurants, and the location is very good. I didn’t know the hotel allowed pets, and that doesn’t bother me in itself. But this is the third night I haven’t been able to sleep because someone on our floor leaves their dog alone in the room, barking all day and night. It’s not reasonable to be unable to rest. This isn’t a hotel for dogs, and the owners are irresponsible.

We spent two summer weeks here and got more pleased with the location as time went on. It’s in a quiet part of Sunny beach, within walking distance of the sea, with no noisy nights, just seagulls or the occasional swimmer at the local pool. There are two supermarkets nearby and a bus stop. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff helpful and kind. There’s no breakfast option. The kitchen has basic cutlery, a fridge, microwave owen, cooker and kettle, enough to make a meal, though the cooking pot is quite small, so you won’t cook for several days at once. In a larger appartement, the extra beds are pretty uncomfortable, but you can get used to them.

The rooms have been newly renovated, and there’s a nice pool. The staff were polite and helpful too. It’s on a quiet side street, away from the busy main road through Sunny Beach. The slow, unreliable wifi is why I’m giving it four stars.

Breakfast has a wide choice, though you have to order it like in a restaurant. They should offer chocolate with the pancakes! The hot water wasn’t always enough for two people, and there were no hooks for towels or jackets. Still, it’s a very nice, comfortable hotel in Sunny Beach. The beach is at most a 10-minute walk, there’s a nice pool, and supermarkets and the bus stop for Nesebar or the north of Sunny Beach are close. The service was kind and pleasant.
