Wela Hotel - All Inclusive

We were very happy with the service and quality at Hotel Wela, and our families are sure to come back. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. There was plenty of tasty food and local drinks, plus daily activities for children and adults in and around the pool. Just be aware there's some music by the pool if that's not your thing. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though small details such as the plastic handles could use some renovation. One drawback was the noisy, drunk Poles who were smoking and drinking all the time.

We've been to Sunny Beach before, but never stayed in such a good hotel. The Deluxe rooms were fantastic, with very comfortable beds and daily cleaning and fresh towels. The more expensive room is worth it, in my opinion. Service was fantastic too, everyone was polite, hardworking, and kind. The food changed every day, with different meats, sides, fish, and seafood, all really tasty. Drinks were strong and good, served in glass, and the staff kept clearing and replacing the glasses. Thanks for such a good apartment, I highly recommend Wela Hotel!

We spent a week there, July 9 to July 16. The all-inclusive service was stunning, the pool bar was great, and the animators put on a perfect show every day. But the room had a serious problem: after every shower, water leaked from beneath the concrete shower base and flooded the bathroom in room 228. I reported it twice at reception. First they said maintenance was busy and they couldn't say when anyone would come. The next suggestion was to aim the shower at the wall so water wouldn't escape, which is no solution for a 4-star hotel. There's also nowhere to rinse sand off your feet before entering the hotel. The two brushes by the main entrance don't get it all off, so you end up walking through the lobby to the pool shower to wash your feet. Not very practical.

A lovely beach is just across the road, though the hotel itself is close to a busy road. We had a very good stay overall. The hotel is nice and has what you need, but the bathrooms and showers could use some care.
