Royal Bay Residence

The pool itself was quite nice, but nobody was around to enforce its rules. For instance, people left towels and luggage unattended on loungers to reserve several of them, even though it was forbidden, and there were no consequences. I had an okay stay, but it definitely wasn’t worth the money. A few room lights didn’t work, the WiFi password was wrong, the bathroom towel hanger was broken, and the showerhead was impractical. The biggest problem was the lack of personnel: reception and the restaurant were closed, and the only staff member I saw was the cleaning lady. I’d think twice before booking.

We had a two-room apartment with a built-in kitchen, and it was well sound-insulated, so whatever the kids got up to stayed inside and didn’t bother the other guests. The hotel is right on the seafront with a direct sea view, unlike most hotels in St. Vlas, and the beach is literally a minute away. It’s clean and welcoming, with very kind staff. Great place to stay with the kids. I’d suggest the owner install a coffee vending machine. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.

We enjoyed our stay in Royal Bay. It’s a nice, quiet hotel with friendly staff.

The only downside I found was the tiny parking lot. There are many more rooms than spaces, so finding a spot was a struggle most of the time. Otherwise, I really recommend coming here to relax. The location is really good, with an awesome view straight out to sea. The room was very clean, housekeeping came daily, and whenever we had a problem, they replied to our messages quickly.
