Guest House Planinska Sreshta

The scenery was beautiful, and the rooms had more than enough space. My boyfriend and I both liked it much more than we expected. It was a magnificent stay.

The listing didn't match what we found. The bathroom was outside the room, across from the house's front door, and any guest could go in. Its door had no lock. Everything in there was old, with dirty tiles, a dirty toilet, mold, cockroaches, and no hygiene at all. The room had no wardrobe, and the dryer was in the hallway outside, where everyone could access it. There was an old sink built into dirty, outdated tiles in the room. One of the towels on the bed was a baby's hooded towel with a teddy bear, though we didn't have a baby. The bottom sheet was made from a duvet cover. Some floor tiles were broken and loose; the bedside tables were old and peeling, and the interior blinds were dusty and warped. We've travelled for many years and never seen anything like this. This is the bottom. For God's sake, don't go there.

There aren't enough tables if two or more groups are staying at once. There's one large table in the yard, one inside, and a few plastic ones, which makes it uncomfortable. The location is great, though the house isn't very well maintained. Given the two-star rating and the price we paid, it was okay for a weekend getaway.

The setting is beautiful and has potential, and the owners are nice. The place itself was very dirty and poorly maintained.
