Hermes Club Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

For the price, it felt like a fair deal, and I don’t regret spending any of it. It’s a good family hotel near a fairly large sandy beach, with two pools and an aqua park. It isn’t one of the newer hotels, though regular upkeep has kept it from looking too worn. I’d recommend it despite a few issues. There’s plenty for children: a full-day program with tireless animators who are entirely dedicated to the kids and speak four languages, an aqua park that suits young and old, and a playground. Evenings also have something for adults. The food was less successful for children, though that depends on their appetite. Some dishes weren’t kept warm consistently, and food that should have been warm was sometimes completely cold. For adults, there was more than enough to choose from. Queues came up often. The dining room is small, so there can be a wait for a table, though arriving in the first hour makes it easy to find a seat. There were lines at the bar too, and at the single beach shower. Sand sticks badly to your feet there, so people take a while. Please add more showers! English ability among staff varied a lot. The receptionist, who should have been able to help, couldn’t, while a cleaner who you wouldn’t expect to speak English did. The hotel is well maintained, but the food and queues could be better.

We’re already planning to book again for next summer. We visited this summer as a group of six families, and the staff gave us a wonderful welcome. The room and kitchen were excellent, and hygiene was top notch. I recommend the hotel wholeheartedly.

There are several pools and a mini aqua park with slides for adults and children. All children can use the pirate ship, while the slides are officially limited to children under 130 cm. My son is that height, but one lifeguard still told us to leave the slide, saying his own son was too small. It was odd because in the morning he hadn’t objected, then in the afternoon he said his son was too short. In our conversation, it seemed clear he was asking for a “modest donation.” Luckily, this was just one lifeguard. Other children, even smaller ones, could use the attractions if a parent stayed in the water and watched them, or went down first to keep an eye on them at the bottom. The hotel is clean, with rooms cleaned every day, and affordable. The service is friendly and naturally attentive, though sometimes staff aren’t on time. The food is quite tasty with something for everyone, but a bit more variety would make it perfect. The alcohol selection is extensive and undiluted, and the bartenders are always smiling. Communication can be tricky since few people speak English, and those who do speak it poorly. Fortunately, most understand Czech, so Polish should be fine too. For children there are activities, and adults have something in the evenings. The Czech and Bulgarian animators do all the work, while the Polish animators on site are average. The clean beach is close by, with a hotel bar there offering a wide selection of dishes. Pizza is also available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and it’s delicious. I recommend the hotel.

The aquapark is great. Rooms are lovely and clean, and both the food and bar are good.
