Holiday Village Samodivi

The snack bar is right in front of the village, and the person cooking and serving was welcoming and kind. The food was really tasty.

I was charged 136 lv and handed over 140, but the man at the counter refused to return the 4 lv. He asked why I was making a fuss over that amount because I was with Dutch people, as if that meant I should leave him the extra money. I offered to collect it later or the next morning, but he couldn’t be bothered and seemed annoyed that I wouldn’t treat the 4 lv as a tip. When I asked for my money back, he threw me out of the hotel and insulted me. You can’t treat customers like that or demand more than the agreed price. That attitude has no place in a successful business. They lost the 136 levs and four customers who won’t return, even if a stay were free.

A good spot for families with kids, though I was really disappointed with where the villas are located.

The view was amazing, and the staff were kind and helpful.
