Admiral Apartments

I’ve trusted Booking.com’s ratings for years, but this property didn’t meet the standard I expected. It’s advertised as a 5-star hotel, yet the food, service, and hygiene were far below what that suggests. The food was poor, and I felt unwell after eating at the hotel restaurant. Cleanliness in the dining areas and common spaces was concerning, and there didn’t seem to be clear attention to hygiene. Staff came across as unfriendly and unhelpful, with little interest in guests’ comfort. The listing feels misleading, and I hope both management and Booking.com take another look at it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless hygiene, service, and guest care improve considerably.

Hotel Admiral sits right on the beachfront in a central part of Golden Sands, with an elegant feel and spacious, modern rooms that are kept in very good condition. The pool and relaxation area are a quiet place to unwind, while the restaurant has plenty of tasty choices. Staff were professional, friendly, and ready to help. It works well for families with children or couples looking for a romantic, luxurious break, with a nice mix of lively surroundings and relaxing comfort.

The hotel itself is well maintained, and the pool and beach are nice and spacious. But paying 1500€ for a few nights didn’t feel worth it. The restaurant had a limited food selection, and the so-called “Snacks” were just leftovers from breakfast and lunch. Drinks could be good or terrible depending on who made them.

With LEVEL bracelets, you can use everything at the hotel, including free ice cream and a private pool with beds in the pool area. Guests without LEVEL bracelets don’t get the same access, so there are really two groups. The place has a lot of potential, but the food was awful. The fish seemed to come from stored cans, which was disgusting, and there weren’t many vegan choices. We ended up eating outside for the rest of our stay.
