They even kept my phone charger safe after I left it behind while traveling to another city, and had it ready when we returned to Varna for another stay. The staff were warm, helpful, and honest. We also had a spacious room, a comfortable bed, and fantastic views from our fourth-floor balcony. It's a charming Old World hotel in a great central spot. Highly recommended!

We couldn't use the hotel's three parking spots for some reason, but Zlatina gave us a warm welcome and quickly helped sort out our parking. The hotel is right across from the cathedral, though the busy main road can be loud. It didn't bother us. I did miss having a coffee machine.

The location is perfect, and check-in went well. At checkout, though, they kept us waiting a long time just to print a simple invoice. The breakfast was very poor. It's a very old hotel, with dated decor and equipment, and the bath towels were nearly torn. The bathtub curtains weren't pleasant either.

We were happy with our stay and felt we got good value for what we paid. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and breakfast and the central location were excellent. Parking was the downside: there was none, so we had to leave the car 1.5 km away and walk. Thank you.

The view from the window was nice, and the location was very good. The vintage interior has its charm, but the bed and mattress sit very low. For an off-season stay, the price didn't seem reasonable. The room also wasn't warm enough on cold November nights, and all the TV channels were in Bulgarian.
