Grifid Sentido Marea

The dining was one of the best parts of our family stay. Special thanks to Chief Rossen and his Team. The food showed his skill in the kitchen, and his personal warmth and hospitality made the meals even more memorable. Wishing him continued inspiration and success! The location is convenient, with everything nearby, but away from the noise. The hotel was full, yet the good organization kept it from feeling crowded. Our room had plenty of space and a nice sea view. The only room issue was that we had to call reception every day to get it cleaned, since it wasn’t ready by 2 PM. The beachfront was clean and well maintained, just across the pedestrian area. The kids’ animation and beach parties were another highlight. Parking costs extra, which didn’t feel like a good deal at an almost 5-star hotel. I’d strongly recommend visiting the Grifid hotels.

The restaurant chef was a lovely surprise, so kind and thoughtful with us, and everything he made was delicious 😋. I spent the last two weeks in Bulgaria and was excited by how nice everything was. The food was amazing, and the staff were very friendly.

There are outdoor pools for both children and adults, and the hotel sits right across from the beach. It’s away from the busy center of Golden Sands, but still close enough for an evening walk. A good choice for families overall. The food and drinks could be better. At the spa, you have to book everything except the indoor pool, and it would have been nice to have more facilities, such as a jacuzzi.

The food was varied and fresh, and the service felt genuinely thoughtful throughout our stay at Grifid Sentido Marea. Staff across reception, the restaurants, and the beach were polite, attentive, and eager to make guests comfortable. Small things, like letting us sit down early before official check-in and using cards to hold buffet tables, made a real difference. It feels like the hotel trains staff to anticipate what guests need. Dining was a real highlight. The spacious main buffet has an adults-only section and rotating themed meals, including Bulgarian, Italian, Mediterranean, and Gala options. Enoteca / Food of Bulgaria serves traditional dishes with a polished presentation, while the beach-side Mediterranean restaurant does standout seafood in a relaxed setting. Some guests may prefer the buffet, but all the venues offer enjoyable, quality food. Grifid Sentido Marea made for a satisfying, worry-free stay.
