The worst part was the beach doctor. She spent the day by the office smoking and talking with other employees, and when I needed help she was in a private conversation and yelled at me for interrupting. I left a complaint at reception. On the other hand, receptionist Ivayla was amazing, one of the best employees I've met here: skilled at communicating, polite, and hospitable. Lotus reopened this year after three years inactive. They didn't renovate, but changed the food setup. There are now three meals a day in a wonderful restaurant, with amazing dishes. The food is fantastic, and free drinks and alcohol are available all day. Security is on site. Some rooms could use repainting, but I'm happy with the rest.

Everything else was okay, but the bar manager's behavior was really poor. I asked for a lemon slice for my gin and tonic, which already includes lemon, and he said it was too expensive even though the hotel is all inclusive. That attitude left a lot to be desired.
