Kristal Hotel - All inclusive

We arrived with low expectations, but left really impressed. The staff were so friendly and ready to help, and you could tell they made an extra effort to keep guests comfortable. The whole hotel was spotless and well maintained. Even outside was cleaned several times a day, the shared toilets stayed clean, and bins were always empty. The pool was amazing, and the food was incredible. My five-year-old daughter can be quite picky, but she found something she liked to eat every single day. Thank you for such a lovely stay 💛

For the price, the food was good quality for an all-inclusive stay, and the owners seem to have invested in renewing the hotel. People were polite, and the lobby bar was good and free. We missed hot water on the first night, probably because it was the start of the season and the hotel filled up all at once. The steam bath wasn't working properly, so don't count on the Spa; I'd add a sauna too. The animation program could be a bit quieter for guests who want to rest at the same time.

The food was delicious and had plenty of variety, and the staff were really welcoming. I loved the big, beautiful room too. There were different shows and activities. I don't have children myself, but I noticed a playground and an activity room, and the animation team was very kind and patient with the kids. No complaints from me!

The housekeeping team was the only part of this stay I could praise. They kept things clean and did their job well. There is a decent playground, though the children's activities start late, around 8 PM, which isn't suitable for younger kids. The hotel claims four stars, but the experience came nowhere near that. Our room had no heating, and nights were extremely cold. We had to sleep under two duvets and wear socks. Staff were unhelpful and uninformed; when we asked questions, we got no clear answers, just shrugs. Food was very poor quality, badly prepared, and repetitive, and there was hair in it. The jacuzzi didn't work, and nobody told us. There was no clear information about the facilities or extra charges. Charging extra for a jacuzzi in a spa hotel is questionable enough, and failing to explain it made things worse. Even tennis rackets cost extra to rent, which I think should be included for guests. The indoor pool was cold despite being advertised as heated; the only warm spot was by a hose connected to a hot shower. There was only one steam sauna and very little else to do besides eat, stay in the pool, or walk around. The hotel was overcrowded, and the restaurant couldn't cope with the number of guests. At every meal, finding a table was difficult. We often had to wait standing or sit outside on the terrace. In cold weather we had to sit out there with a child under five, which was unacceptable. There were no bathrobes or slippers for the spa or pool, so we had to walk back to our room wrapped in wet towels. Only small towels were provided, and they barely soaked up the water. This was a very disappointing stay, and we definitely won't return. The only star this hotel deserves goes to the cleaning staff.
