I wouldn't pick Velevi again for a future trip to Velingrad. The room was in miserable shape, with dusty, muddy floors, cobwebs on the walls and behind the beds, and a dirty carpet. Several things in the room and bathroom didn't work. The owners took our money and left without asking whether my friend or I needed anything. They showed little interest in their guests, and the way they treated tenants was lacking.

The setting is peaceful, and we could hear frogs singing by the nearby river. It's centrally located, with the places to visit all about the same distance away. The hostess was kind, and the place felt very cozy. Thanks for the hospitality.

It wasn't particularly nice. There was just one towel for the two of us, so we were glad we'd brought our own.

The terrace, bathroom, and room were all very dirty, just generally miserable. If they can't keep up with it themselves, they should get a cleaning company.

The owners were trusting and kind, and it was warm. The bed creaks badly, though, and the tulle curtains are very gray and need washing.
