Luxor Apartment

The hostess was really kind, and there are restaurants and grocery stores close by. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed, including kitchen appliances, a hairdryer, and an iron. The chairs on the terrace were very comfortable too. I recommend it.

For a peaceful family holiday, I’d highly recommend this place. The hosts were lovely, kind, and responsive, and the apartment was cosy and had everything we needed. We’d visit again.

I was delighted with this apartment. The price is great, and for that money you usually get something only a bit above a sleazy hole. It turned out to be a separate apartment in a housing cooperative, rather than the sort of guest house I expected, so it felt much more anonymous and independent. Everything inside was new, clean, and neat, with care put into the details. The owner was kind and helpful, arrived quickly, and explained the important things. The towels were folded beautifully, with an expensive candy on top. There were also a few books by the TV. The kitchenette had everything we needed: hotplates, microwave, coffee maker, cups, plates, forks, spoons, spices, vinegar, sugar, coffee, tea, even flour. There were extra blankets and pillows, plus a hairdryer and iron. The bathroom was wonderful, and it was the area where the newness and cleanliness showed most. The siphon drained well, and the shower stayed wherever you pointed it. Water pressure was very strong and the water quite hot. It might be a good idea to turn down the water heater, since it was hard to regulate and even small adjustments could seriously burn you. The bed was firmer, so you didn’t sink into it. It seemed good to me, we slept very well and nobody woke up sore, so that was nice.

The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and the location is convenient. The apartment is really nice and clean, clearly looked after regularly. Everything is new, with no old, worn-out furniture. We were very satisfied and will definitely visit again if we get the chance.
