After driving for more than 15 hours, I was relieved to reach my country and called to book a room. I explained that I was one adult traveling with three children, including two babies, so we had a double pushchair and bags. When we arrived, the host acted as if he were doing me a favor and told me to park “normally,” without taking the pushchair into account. They also had no baby cot or anything else for the babies to sleep in. Then I was told our room was on the second floor, up three flights of stairs. How was I supposed to manage that alone with a double pushchair? Very disappointing. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Getting to the city center is easy, and there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The hotel is also close to both the bus and train stations. Our room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C worked great. The bathroom had everything we needed. Some of the staff speak English. There’s no elevator, so be ready to carry heavy bags up three flights of stairs.

I booked on a Friday night for the same day, arrived by bicycle, and they let me lock it up out back. It’s near the city center and worked really well for my needs as a solo traveler on a bike.

Just five minutes from the center of Vidin, and a comfortable place for a vacation. They cleaned every day, and whenever there was a problem, the staff would sort it out within 24 hours. Five-star hotel and service. Thank you, Vidin Hotel staff!

The rooms are big and the price is very good for what you get. The bathroom has no heat, though, and the doors feel kind of cheap.
