Orange Suites Hotel

Our first stay had been pleasant, so we booked here again, but this time staff came into the room after we'd failed to answer the doorbell a couple of times. They didn't call the landline either. It felt invasive and very unprofessional, especially given our family's privacy. I won't be coming back.

The hotel is bad in general. The receptionist treated me very poorly and showed no respect or basic courtesy, or even basic competence at the job.

At 9:00 AM, I went down for the breakfast included in my booking, but there was nothing available. They offered me a menu order instead, which I neither expected nor liked, since the reservation promised a proper open buffet. The suite also had a strong dusty smell, and its curtain was broken and couldn't be closed, making it hard to get a decent night's sleep. I'd requested a special arrangement well before arriving, but it hadn't been prepared, and nobody told me it would take extra time. I only found out once I arrived, which left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. A very poor stay on several fronts, and I won't repeat it.

The suite was good, and the view from the 21st floor was very good too. Service was average, though. We arrived around 2 PM and only got the room at 3:15, an hour late. The reception staff apologized and said we could check out late if we wanted.
