The reception staff were professional, helpful, and attentive to our requests throughout our stay. Early check-in depends on whether a room is available, so if the hotel is busy, you might have to wait until the normal check-in time. They did their best to accommodate us. The location is the main draw. The Panorama Hotel and Spa puts you right among the city's food, drinks, and nightlife, with everything for an evening out just steps away. We were concerned about possible noise after being told a disco might stay loud until 3 AM, since we had kids with us. In our experience, there was no disco or DJ, and the nights were much quieter than expected. It didn't affect our sleep. A couple of things to plan for: reception rates seemed relatively high compared with booking online, so I recommend reserving through a booking site or the hotel's website in advance for a better deal. There was also a discrepancy with the meal rates shown on Booking.com. The hotel doesn't offer meals at those specific discounted rates, so expect to pay separately per person for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A great central stay with good service, as long as you account for meals and book ahead.

The room had a brownish, dirty look, and I found the hotel's design gross. The hallway looked like fish scales, and the old rooms had blue carpet and yellow shades. That color mix felt very odd and triggering to me. On top of that, after waking up I went to shower and found the valve was broken, so I had to call maintenance. You can refer to the pictures. The night had already been extremely difficult. I have migraines and needed to get up early, but I slept only about four hours after nearly four hours of back and forth with reception over the air conditioning. My first room's AC was broken, so I had to move after spending about 30 minutes settling in. The maintenance guy they sent spoke little to no English. The second room was still uncomfortably hot. Its thermostat didn't work, there was no way to monitor it, and the air never got cold enough to cool the room properly. In the third room, the AC's auto setting didn't work either. It was either fully on and extremely cold or completely off and hot, with no temperature control. Around 2-3 AM they finally offered an upgrade, but by then moving again wasn't practical. The staff were good, and the receptionist did his best when I called the last time, but it was already too late and didn't help my experience. This hotel is unbelievable.

The property was close to great restaurants, the Museum of Bahrain, and National markets, which was a real plus. The hotel was clean, had positive vibes, and offered amazing customer service. Staff responded quickly and made sure our needs were handled on time, especially Muntazar brother, who was the manager during our stay. We would stay at the same hotel again if we visit Bahrain. Definitely worth stopping by, and thank you so much.

I've been coming here every week for the past two months, and the stays have consistently been calm and comfortable, with excellent service. Mohammed, the Indian lady at reception, and a respectful Bahraini staff member were all professional and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Most of the rooms, maybe all of them, are for smokers. You can tell as soon as you walk into the hotel. Otherwise, it was a nice four star place in a very good location, with friendly staff and no noise, despite what some reviews said. We also had no issues staying there as a modest family, although some reviews suggested it wasn't suitable.
