OYO 120 Concord International Hotel

I want to bring this to the attention of @ministry of commercial Bahrain because this is happening in a country people consider safe and secure. There’s a seeshaw shop at this hotel, and another person has already commented about these issues. A woman first approached us with an offer of 5 BD for Seeshaw and juice, so we went in. We hadn’t ordered anything, but they brought 6 juices and 1 seeshaw, then charged 33BD for each person. They pressure people to pay by threatening to call the police, and the women there say customers tried to touch them. I was told they’re all Bangladesh nationalities, and that a local Bahrain person acting as a bodyguard hits people to get money. Check the photos. These aren’t scammers, they’re robbery guys.

My family and I had a horrible experience. We booked through agoda but, after seeing how filthy and unhygienic the hotel and room were, we didn’t check in. The place felt scary, and we never got a refund for the 2 days we booked. The photos on agoda are extremely old, and the hotel’s name board doesn’t even light up now. It seems to be used by people looking for rooms by the hour.

This was the worst hotel in the world, and the worst jail would be cleaner. OYO has posted fake room pictures just to take your money. I mistakenly booked through Agoda and was charged in advance. I got a skin allergy after a terrible night, and the staff were really bad. There was no parking, and the rooms and washrooms had mold and cockroaches everywhere. They should rename it “COCKROACH INTERNATIONAL HOTEL”. Bahrain’s government should take strict action and seal the hotel. This taught me a lifelong lesson: don’t trust photos on hotel booking apps. Never pay in advance through an app, always check the room first and pay when you arrive. I’d never use Agoda or OYO again, even if they offered a free stay.
