The beach was very clean and well maintained, and the pool was big and seemed well cared for, with a maximum depth of 1.6 meters. The waves are fierce, which is why there’s a red flag. Lifeguards are present, but they stay under a shaded area by the pool entrance instead of walking around. There are no rescue items such as floaters or hooks on poles, so adults need to accompany children. Across from the resort there are activities including kayaking, bicycling, speedboats, a mini golf course, and a spa. Check-in was flawless. The French buffet breakfast was excellent, with efforts to vary the choices each day. Ordered meals take a long time. The rooms are dated, with no refrigerator, coffee maker, or intercom, and there’s no internet in the rooms. You can get service at reception and in the dining area. From an extensive traveler’s perspective, it’s an average resort. About 95% of the staff can’t communicate in English. It’s a good place to relax and wind down. Check-out would have been flawless, except staff had to inspect the room for missing items before giving us the all-clear.

The food and service were great, and the air conditioning was awesome. That French breakfast was so good I thought about poaching their cook.

From the moment I arrived until I left, I could count on the staff to be professional and reliable. The place is very clean, with a dreamy setting, and the beauty of nature here is mesmerizing. I loved the food too. Resorts often aren’t known for good meals, so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I loved my stay so much, words can’t explain it. I’ll definitely be back!! The location and the view were very good, and kayaking was a great, different experience. But the staff weren’t friendly, and the service was very bad. They wouldn’t provide simple things like goal posts for the swimming pool and made excuses to avoid giving them to us.
