There were 12 of us, six adults and six boys aged 9-13, across three huge rooms. The grounds were awesome, and the pools and beach alone would make me come back again and again. The pool was great, though service was slow, as it is in much of the island. Snorkeling off the dock was awesome, with a large barracuda just hanging out underneath. The kids loved jumping off it all day. At Cafe Kolo we had breakfast every day. Esperanza is the best. Seeing her smile and how genuinely happy she was to see the boys got each day off to a great start. The food was what we expected, with enough variety to get us through a day of activities. We also went there a fair bit for decent pizza for the kids after long days, and it’s good for lunch on a resort day. Avoid Italian Night, which was really bad. Grill night wasn’t awful, but there were better options. We had a great meal at Tropicana by the water on our last day. The BBQ was pretty good too. Our rooms had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big living area, and a nice kitchen. Cleaning was great, though we only requested it a few times that week. The in-room coffee was A+, better than buying it from Kolo. The gym was a letdown. It’s a public gym, most treadmills didn’t work or tripped while running, and the equipment was packed in so tightly that the place felt hazardous. I’d recommend this resort without question to anyone coming to Bonaire. We had a great trip and a great stay.

We had a villa with its own pool, though we still tried the other pools too, including the kiddie pool with splash pad, which surprised me. The hotel was beautiful, polished, and classy, and the pool loungers and cabanas showed how much care went into the details. I felt safe at any time of day, and the restaurant food was great. Definitely rent a car to see the island, since nothing is walkable.

I spent a week here with my mom for a birthday trip, and it was everything we hoped for. The place felt luxurious without being snooty, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Everyone on staff was so lovely, kind, and helpful, especially James, Sammy, and Fanny. We felt welcomed and well looked after. The on-site restaurants were delicious and could handle both vegetarian and gluten-free diets. We loved having the pools, and the snorkeling off the dock by Brass Boer was lovely, with beautiful fish. We rented snorkeling gear right at the Dive Friends location on the property. We also rented a car from Delfins, which we really needed to get around the island. It handled the rough roads well, and the staff accommodated a last-minute extension for another day. Very, very happy with our stay!

We stayed in beach villa V-A, technically “off property,” and it was incredible. Our private plunge pool had spectacular ocean views, and the two beach restaurants we tried both served phenomenal food. I especially loved the octopus and ceviches. The facilities and staff were five stars all around. It’s a stunning oasis on the beautiful island of Bonaire. We can’t thank Henry and his outstanding staff enough for such a fabulous job, and we can’t wait to return!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the people are so kind and friendly. Cleaning service is a bit erratic, though the cleaners themselves are helpful. We’re very happy with our stay. There’s good snorkeling right off the pier, the restaurants have been fantastic, and we’ve loved the pools and really everything about this resort.
