The first time we stayed here, in October 2021, everything was picture perfect and the staff gave exceptional service. I hoped for that same level on a return visit, possibly in May 2022, and would stay again. Keep in mind that prices went up from 2021 to 2022, and the transfer from the ferry port is no longer complimentary.

My partner and I booked a suite for €505 a night. It had an outdoor pool, but we couldn’t use it because more than 20 hungry mosquitoes were waiting outside. My partner spent time chasing them inside, and there were blood splatters everywhere. The shower had no hot water. We asked them to fix it, but they never did. The included breakfast was just pastries, black coffee, and bread with butter and jam. Eggs cost extra. When we mentioned the hot water at checkout, they didn’t apologize and spoke to each other in French. We also raised the mosquito issue, and were told all the rooms had the same problem. The TV remote had no batteries. They wanted cash for the extra scrambled eggs, but couldn’t give us change. There was no service at the hotel. When we asked about a nearby restaurant, they said there weren’t any, although Cheval Blanc was a five-minute walk along the beach and felt much more professional. That’s it from me. The room was clean and nicely equipped, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a beautiful spot right on the beach. My first time on the island, and I’m already eager to come back.

You’re right on the beach, and the rooms have amazing views. The kitchenette is well equipped, everything was very clean, and the owners and staff were kind and friendly.
