We stayed in the Deluxe One Bedroom Waterview Unit and loved Greenbank. It’s a peaceful, romantic spot with lovely bay views and sunsets. The kitchenette has what you need, though bring your own tea and coffee. There’s fresh coffee in the shared area each morning. In winter, the rooms can be chilly, but there’s a heater in the living room. Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a superb location, two minutes on foot to a ferry stop and then just a 5-minute ride to Hamilton, or a 15-minute walk to a bus stop. Taxis are friendly and willing to stop for groceries on the way from the airport.

Greenbank was a great home base for exploring Bermuda, right in the middle of the island. Melanie was terrific, as was Reinhard, the helper onsite. Our flight was delayed, and when I emailed to say we were still coming, Melanie sent good tips for getting groceries and dinner. We managed both easily even though we were tired and a bit frustrated. The waterfront dock was a lovely place to wind down: we’d sit with dark n' stormies, swim with a pool noodle, watch the sunsets, and feed the fish. We’d return in a hot second. We don’t revisit many places, but we’ll likely come back to Bermuda and Greenbank. Thanks for a great week! We were a family of four with two teenagers for a week, and the two adjacent rooms Melanie gave us worked perfectly: one had a king bed, the other two twins for the boys. Both had kitchenettes, so we made breakfast each day and packed sandwiches or lunch on some days. The rooms were basic, clean, and functional. The Salt Kettle ferry stop is two minutes away, and the bus is a 10-15 minute walk uphill in some spots, depending on where you’re going. The ferry only runs until about 6pm and about once an hour, so it wasn’t as convenient as we’d hoped. We didn’t feel safe riding scooters with two teenagers and left-side driving, so we used cabs quite a bit. My only complaint about Bermuda was that public transportation felt oversold: ferry service in particular had been reduced by the government, and the buses could take much longer than a cab. If you want to explore the island, this is a terrific base.

Across the bay from Hamilton, this is a lovely little spot. The ferry is literally a minute’s walk away, and at sunset it’s great to sit out and watch the boats pass.

A quiet place away from the bustle of a hotel, with simple, older traditional rooms. It’s clean, and towels are changed daily. I had a lovely ocean-side room looking west, and the ferry stop is less than a five-minute walk away.

Greenbank is laid-back, and Melanie and her team go out of their way to meet my needs. The rooms are lovely. Mine had a small kitchen, and with groceries plus what I brought on the flight, I made lovely meals to eat on my personal deck overlooking the water. The location is an easy taxi ride to Hamilton, or you can take the ferry during the week. The floating dock gives you the best sunsets in Bermuda. Highly recommend.
