The bathroom was dated, and ants were crawling across the floor. The tub drain was rusted and wouldn't drain, so I had to stand in waste water while showering. The pillows smelled like an old, sweaty guy. It was so disgusting I couldn't sleep, and had to put a towel over the pillow to fall asleep.

It felt like a more personal way to visit, and honestly, better than staying in some stuffy hotel. It's beautiful, clean, and quiet, and I could walk into town without any trouble. I went swimming once and had the place to myself. We all mostly kept to ourselves, and I only met my sweet little hallmate Peggy from Jamaica when she couldn't figure out how to turn on the Wi-Fi. Since it's self-checking, I met the manager Lana when she happened to see me. She was very nice, and I have no complaints.

The rooms are very old, but quaint, and they were kept very clean. The owner was really friendly and helpful when I met her. It's a bit pricey, and you'd expect things to be newer, though that seems to fit Bermuda. Breakfast won't keep you going for long, so you'll need to find a proper one to start the day.

The room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a terrific view. It's a great guest house if you'd like a more local feel than a big hotel. I'd definitely recommend it.
