Azura Bermuda

The ocean view is beautiful, but there's no beach, and the endless stairs make getting around tiring. The rooms feel dated, and there aren't any vending machines on site. After restaurant hours, even a snack or Tylenol means walking to the nearest gas station. We found the restaurant food mediocre and overpriced. The only things we enjoyed were items from the kids' menu, fries, tenders, and plain pasta. There isn't much happening at the hotel, so don't expect a fun-filled stay. This didn't feel close to luxury.

Those little cliff landings with sun chairs felt like paradise. I visited in the off season and had them all to myself each morning. The staff were some of the nicest people, and housekeeping was so attentive. I found the place online and booked a trip to Bermuda just to stay here. It has to be one of the most stunning places.

The oceanfront ground-floor view is blocked by overgrown shrubs. The glass bathrooms feel awkward, especially with no door on the toilet, and it isn't romantic. WiFi is spotty, and the place is overpriced.

The saltwater pool was lovely, and at low tide you can walk out onto the beach for a while. We were close to Horseshoe Bay and not too far from Hamilton. I stayed in a balcony room in the nautilus section, with a quiet, romantic feel and a relaxing ocean view to wake up to. The staff were professional and attentive, and a shout out to Percy! My one complaint is the small gym, with just two treadmills, an elliptical, and a peleton bike. The views alone made the stay worthwhile. Azura was unbelievable, and I can't wait to come back next year.
