Sandpiper Apartments

The studio apartment was just right for my four-night stay, and the location was very quiet. Service was excellent too. I’ve just returned from the Sandpiper, and it really is a hidden gem. Looking forward to going back.

The property is beautifully landscaped with tropical trees and flowers, and the pool was well maintained with space to lounge. The apartments were clean and really nice, with plenty of room and kitchens. Moira and all the service people were kind and attentive. This was the best deal we found on the island, and it didn’t disappoint. There’s a phone outside the office that makes it easy to get a cab any time, day or night. We walked to the beach in five minutes, just past the gas station, and also went there every day for food. They had a good breakfast buffet and pastries. Yes, at the gas station. The island location is central.

The rooms were super clean, and the maid was very nice. We also really enjoyed the pool, and saw other families using the grill. The front desk staff were lovely and helpful with our questions. It was our first time in Bermuda, and once we got used to the surroundings, we felt very comfortable. South Beach is less than a 10-minute walk away: turn right outside the moon gate, then follow the road on the left until you reach a pillar and parking. The gas station is the other way, under a three-minute walk, with everything you might need, including fresh baked goods for breakfast and hot food. Bus stops are nearby too. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. 10/10, would recommend for independent travelers!

The staff were welcoming, and the rooms were spotless with no strange smells. The beds and pillows were cozy, the cutlery, pots, and kettle were sparkling clean, and the Wi-Fi was reliably fast. There were plenty of TV channels too, and the bus stop and beautiful Marley Beach were just steps away.
