Casa Cochabamba

Breakfast is served from 7 to 10am in the sheltered courtyard, where there are tables and chairs. There’s tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, yogurt, fruit, cereal, a toasted sandwich, and egg. The hotel is a great find in central Cochabamba. It had only recently opened when I stayed, so everything felt clean and modern, while the traditional charm was still there. With only 8 rooms, it has a small, welcoming feel. The owner was helpful, and there were leaflets for local attractions. All the rooms face the courtyard at the back, well away from the road, so nights are quiet. My room was bright and airy, with mesh on the window frames so I could let in fresh air without letting in mosquitoes. It was spacious, with plenty of storage, a TV with cable and streaming services, a table, chairs, bedside cabinets, a wardrobe, and a decent fan for warmer weather. The large modern bathroom had a very good hot shower, and even the sink had a plug.

The common area worked really well for getting work done, and the Wi-Fi connection was very good. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the bright, spacious room and bathroom. Nicolás was very friendly. We planned to stay just one night in May 2026, but ended up staying four more. Without a doubt, a great place to stay in Cochabamba.

From the outside, the place looks unassuming, but inside it’s indescribably elegant. It’s a wonderful, welcoming spot in a central location. Nico was very attentive, even though we had to bother him in the early hours of the morning and again very late at night so he could let us in. We’d booked because it was near a travel agency. We hope to return soon and stay here again.

The place is beautiful, and we felt comfortable throughout our wonderful ten days there in January. We loved everything. Nicolás and his dad paid attention to all our needs, and staying there turned out to be the best decision we made. We’d definitely return.
