The location was great, and our private room was spotless, with a simple, comfortable feel. The front desk staff were really friendly, too. Breakfast was tasty and straightforward, with eggs, fruit, coffee, and tea. The atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. My partner and I stayed for one night, and we’d recommend it.

The location is the main drawback. Cristo statue is nearby, but ATMs, supermarkets, the market, terminals, and restaurants are several blocks away. There’s no breakfast included, and about half the time we had to ask for toilet tissue. On the plus side, the kitchen was good, the hot shower worked well, and the place was relatively clean. We arrived early from chilly La Paz and they gave us blankets and let us sleep in the baggage room, which has a foldable bed. They also let us use the common areas for as long as we wanted.

The place had a homey feel, with friendly people, a nice breakfast, and very good cleanliness. It’s close to the Christ statue and the park, and felt worth the price. Just be aware that the upstairs floor makes a lot of noise when you walk around.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the backyard, unfortunately. The hostel itself is cozy, the showers are nice, and although it’s outside the city center, you can still walk there.
