We stayed here twice. The hotel is handy for bars, restaurants and tourist sights, which are a short trip away or reachable by an inexpensive taxi. The reception staff were always helpful and ready to answer our questions. Breakfast was simple, though you could have eggs cooked to order. The hallway light's motion sensor was annoying at night: light came through a window above the bedroom door whenever it switched on. The shower also felt cramped. Some rooms are dark and get little natural light, although a few have windows. The bedding and towels looked worn, and the mattress was just okay.

We could leave our bags for free while we were at Toro Toro National Park, which was really helpful. The hotel is central, close to the main plaza and Colon square. Staff were so friendly and willing to help, and the rooms were cleaned daily with toiletries provided. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh bread, pastries, lots of fruit and cereal.
