Hostal Costa De Marfil Suites

The location was good, but for the price the place is very expensive for what it offers. The hygiene was poor, the TV was small and old, and the pillows were flat. Breakfast was disappointing, too. The worst part was having to wait a long time to get in or out of the hostel.

The place itself is okay, but the sheets smell terrible and there are mosquitoes. It doesn’t look like they fumigate, and breakfast is the same every day.

The room smelled like someone who had just come out of the bathroom. I complained and they moved me to another room that was supposed to have a queen-size bed and a refrigerator, but neither was provided. When I asked for the basics I was paying for, the bitter woman with dyed hair wanted to throw me out. She also wanted to take money from my refund because I’d put my suitcase on the bed and tidied up before leaving.

I loved the location and how friendly the staff were, and the rooms were beautifully designed. The apartment kitchens were no use for cooking, though, since there weren’t any utensils. Breakfast was very poor: everything seemed store-bought, there was no fruit, and not even freshly squeezed orange juice.
