The view is amazing, and there's a nice, spacious shared living room. But the beds are terribly soft, and the shared bathroom shower gives you more of a shock than usual. After we returned from Isla del Sol, we asked to make a reservation. She'd usually respond quickly, but this time she gave us the cold shoulder. When we came back, the matrimonial room was occupied and nobody had told us. Bad service, bad beds and shared showers, despite the great view. Make up your mind.

I loved the view so much that I kept extending my stay because I didn't want to leave. Waking up to the water was magical, and you can see it straight through the spotless windows. The owners were always available and really helpful, and I felt safe leaving my valuables in the room. The communal kitchen was clean, had drinking water, and was often all mine since there aren't many rooms. I stayed in a room with a private bathroom and always had hot water, though Bolivia's hot water system took me a while to figure out. They also have rooms with shared bathrooms, but I didn't use those. I've stayed in several places in Copacabana, some disappointing ones too, since I'm particular about cleanliness. For me, this place is absolutely the best value there.

The room was spacious, with a great view and hot water. It's great value for money, and apart from the organization issues, I'd absolutely recommend it. Check-in was confusing: there was no sign outside, and we had to wait for someone to hear us knocking. I had reserved two nights by Whatsapp, but we could only stay one, so I'd give it five stars otherwise.

We ended up leaving. Since this place was full, they sent us to another hotel 15 minutes away that was literally half finished, with bricks and everything visible. We'd confirmed the price several times by phone and text, but she doubled it when we got there. You could easily lose your time here, like we did.

At 11-13€/night for two, this is a really affordable stay, and the Lake Titicaca views are beautiful. The hot showers work reliably, the town center is convenient to reach, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. I'd exchange money in town for a better rate. The mattress dips in the middle and needs replacing, but at this price it's manageable. The room gets chilly, and the shared bathroom is basic, with no bathmat, soap, or shower curtain. WiFi is steady but only moderate speed, fine for browsing and messages, not great for video calls or remote work.
