The views of the iglesia and surrounding hills were wonderful, and Alfredo, the manager, speaks some English and was really helpful. It’s a clean, cosy, family-run hotel. There’s no breakfast, but you can make your own in the communal kitchen, and have tea or coffee.

The rooms are nice, and the staff were friendly. There’s a very nicely equipped kitchen too. The shower wasn’t working properly, though, and the place gets very noisy whenever something is happening at the main square.

The rooms are very nice and the location is great, plus there’s a kitchen guests can use. Just be aware that payment has to be in USD.

The shower’s electric boiler seemed to make the water regulator electrically charged, which didn’t seem too safe. Also, as other reviews have said, this was the only hotel we came across that charged us the street exchange rate, 11-11.5 BOB per euro instead of 7 BOB. That made other options more attractive.

We had a very large room and a comfortable bed for a reasonable price. The owner was friendly and helpful, and everything was clean. The location is very central, and the shower was warm. From the terrace you can see the whole city and the sunset over Lake Titicaca. We had a very nice time.
