A cheap and cheerful hotel in Copa. We went in the off season, in early October, and walked in around midday without a reservation. They had a private double room ready straight away, and we were thrilled to find it even had a lake view. It cost 140bs a night. The staff were super kind, the WiFi worked great, and the bed was big and comfy. The room was colorful but a bit shabby. It's about a five minute walk downhill to the town center, with a steep climb back up. Booking directly with them is better than using platforms like Booking.com, since the rate is much better. The shower was the one letdown. It's electric, and we followed the instructions, but never got the hot water working.

The staff were so welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed. They also let us leave our bags while we visited the island. We were lucky to get a room with a lake view, and it was comfortable and clean. A very nice hotel close to everything in Copacabana, highly recommended.

There's a sunny shared space with sofas, and the hotel is in a quiet area, still within easy reach of the city center and lake. The rooms have hot water and heating, though the heating is only on in the room from 6 pm to 10 pm. Good value, but breakfast isn't part of the price. When I visited in Mar2025, card payments weren't accepted, as was the case in most places in Copacabana.

There are thoughtful little extras, like free tea, biscuits, and candies available all day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and let us leave our luggage in storage for the whole day without any trouble. It's a very nice hotel in a great location, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Keep in mind the showers are electric, so it takes a while to get the water temperature right. There are no blinds either, so the room gets bright early in the morning.

Ideal location, nice staff, hot water, and free food and tea. The rooms were amazing, and the bed was super duper comfortable, warm, and relaxing, almost meditative. Extremely highly recommended.
