Breakfast was yummy and came with a drink, a pancake, and yogurt with oats and banana. The views from this hostel are stunning, though getting there from the south port takes a hike of 30 mins or more. Our room was very spacious with a good bathroom, but the beds weren't super comfortable.

The room was quite big, and both hosts were so kind. From the hostel you can see Isla de la Luna and snow covered summits in the distance. That banana chocolate pancake at breakfast was just perfect. We had a great stay!

The owners made us a beautiful home cooked three course meal with fresh local produce, then offered breakfast the next day. It felt almost like an intimate homestay. There's a rewarding view at the top, and one of the island's main lookouts is just a 2min walk away. The property is at the VERY TOP of the Isla de Sol, about 45mins up a steep hill, so be prepared for the climb. Local porters, kids who are happy and acclimatised to the conditions, can take your bags up for a few soles. The rooms are basic, clean and large for this part of the world. Nights get very cold without heating, but they provided plenty of blankets. Our room had no hot water, though the showers in the shared bathrooms were a little warmer. Would highly recommend!

A lovely pancake was the highlight of the simple breakfast. The place is peaceful and quiet, just right for relaxing. The owner family are warm and friendly, and the donkey, doggie and kids are super cute. There is Wifi, but it's slow and didn't work at night. I was happy to have NO Wifi here in the village, though. The shower wasn't hot enough for me, especially on a cold night. If you want a calm, simple village stay, this place is just right.

The view while eating breakfast was the best I've ever had, and the banana pancake was great. Our room was lovely and the WiFi decent enough. At 188B for two people for one night, it was a bit expensive. We heard there are places for as little as 35 pp per night, but that they weren't great. Would recommend.
