Many guests may like that it's right in el Centro, but I found getting to and from El Alto difficult. The property was empty when I checked in, yet I was put on an upper floor right beside a group partying. With a 2:30 am alarm for my early flight, I started calling the front desk hourly at 11, but the noise kept going and I never slept. In the morning I asked the desk to get a taxi. After waiting 15-minutes, I had to hail one myself down the street.

It's cheap and in a decent location, and the beds are comfy. It's not a 5 star place, maybe around a 4 by European standards. Breakfast wasn't all that, and the staff there were honestly useless, just talking on the phone the whole time and basically ignoring us when we asked for anything. The reception staff were nice, even though the information they gave us was totally wrong 😂

The walls are a little thin, but overall I was happy with my stay. It's within walking distance of the main downtown area, and although it isn't the most luxurious hotel, it's probably one of the best in la Paz. The staff were great, helped open doors, and even prepared a breakfast bag for me when I had to leave before breakfast started.

It's very affordable for a "5 star" hotel, though I'd say it's not quite a full 5 star. Still, it was comfortable, with good food and service. The pool is closed on Mondays. The location is great, just off La Paz's main road and within walking distance of the main tourist area.

It's a really nice hotel, though I wouldn't call it 5 star. The cleaners were lovely, but we didn't have a good experience with the rest of the staff. At reception, they would carry on with what they were doing without acknowledging us. A quick smile and saying they'd be with us would have been fine if the task couldn't be interrupted. Hopefully management can hire friendlier people. Breakfast was average, and I was surprised there was no bacon.
