The staff were amazing and handled our changing plans with a smile when a national protest shut down the roads. The location is fantastic, right by the tourist heart of La Paz, and the restaurants downstairs serve great food with friendly staff. If I come back to La Paz, I’ll absolutely stay here again. I’d give this hotel six stars if I could.

We were disappointed with the Deluxe Room we booked. It was cramped and small, right next to the elevator, which we could hear all night. The window faced a brick wall, and there was mold in the tiny bathroom shower. It was no Deluxe room by any means. The hotel is centrally located in a good area of La Paz.

Breakfast was good and the location was great. The reception staff weren't especially friendly, although the restaurant staff were very friendly. Our fourth-floor room had a great view and the shower was hot, but the room itself was cold with no heating. Light poured in through a glass panel above the door from the corridor, so the room was never even slightly dark. There was no sound insulation either, and we could hear the alarm in the next room. Good enough, but not great.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large, and the room was clean and relatively quiet. It’s a good hotel in central La Paz, with everything nearby or just a few minutes’ walk away. More power outlets would have helped, but we managed.

We stayed one night, checking in late and leaving early. The accommodation was clean, accessible, and relatively modern. If the door is locked, look for the doorbell on the left.
